The Divino Amor Monastery of the Madres Adoratrices closed down 1936 Over the years, the city of Lipa has been known and acknowledged as the "Little Rome of the Philippines."   This is primarily due to the fact that it is the center of Roman Catholicism in the region, it being an   Ecclesiastical province, a Metropolitan See whose territory encompasses a large portion of the Southern Tagalog provinces. But more than being a center of Catholic faith,  Lipa is also known for the piety and religiosity of its people and for their love and devotion to the Blessed Mother.  Credit that to the many religious houses, churches, convents, seminaries and monasteries found all throughout the city. Presently, there are 21 congregations of men and women religious, 11 parishes, 1 chaplaincy and 5 monasteries in Lipa City.  Among the many churches and houses of worship is the Redemptorist Church of Divino Amor - a church dedicated to the devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary...

Ang Mapaghimalang Larawan ng  Mahal na Ina ng Laging Saklolo Ang Pambansang Dambana ng Ina ng Laging Saklolo (English: National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help ) kilala rin bilang Simbahan ng Redemptorist at sa mas tanyag na Simbahan ng Baclaran ay isa sa mga pangunahing dambana na itinalaga sa karangalan ng Mahal na Birheng Maria. Ito ay matatagpuan sa kahabaan ng Roxas Boulevard sa Baclaran, Paranaque, isang lungsod sa katimugang bahagi ng Kamaynilaan, ang kabisera ng Pilipinas.  Matatagpuan sa simbahan ang popular na larawan ng Ina ng Laging Saklolo na nanggaling pa sa bansang Alemanya pagkapos ay dumaan sa Ireland at Australia bago pa ito tuluyang nakarating sa Pilipinas dala ng mga misyonerong Redemptorista noong taong 1906. Taglay ng larawan ang escudo ng Santo Papa sa likod na bahagi nito.  Ang debosyon sa Ina ng Laging Saklolo ay laganap na laganap sa mga Pilipinong Katoliko at humahatak ng libo-libong mga deboto patungo sa Baclaran at sa iba't iba pang m...
